He and Anna May Funston were married on 19 Jun 1895 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States.⁴ They lived with Joseph’s parents at 1649 Eyre street on 1 Jun 1900.⁶ They lived at 2762 Martha Street on 15 Apr 1910⁷ and at 3859 Coral Street on 1 Jan 1920.⁸ After his wife’s death, Joseph lived at 2904 Rorer Street on 1 Apr 1930⁹ and at the Salvation Army Hotel on 1 Apr 1940.¹⁰
