ROBERT S. MULLIN, 82, of 14 E. 9th St., Marcus Hook, died today in Chester Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Mullin was the son of the late Daniel and Elizabeth Mullin, and had lived in Marcus Hook most of his life. He retired 11 years ago from the Pure Oil Co. of Marcus Hook where he had been employed for 47 years. He was a former member and two-term president of Marcus Hook Borough Council. He was a member of Redman, Wawasett Lodge No. 172.
He is survived by his widow, Elizabeth Mahla Mullin; one daughter, Mrs. Herman McFadden of Claymont; three sons, Andrew of Park Forest, Ill.; Jack of Kennett Square; Kenneth of Brookhaven; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
The services wll be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the George W. Maxwell funeral home, 1834 Meetinghouse Road, Boothwyn. Burial will be in Lawn Croft Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday evening at the funeral home.

Mrs. Elizabeth Mullen, 84, of 14 E. 9th St., Marcus Hook, died Tuesday in Concord Villa Nursing Home, Concord.
Mrs. Mullen was a lifelong Marcus Hook resident and was believed to be the oldest native of the borough.
She was a member of the William W. Fray Post American Legion auxiliary 491 of Kennett Square.
Her husband, Benjamin, died in 1961.
She is survived by three sons, Andrew F. of Paltine, Ill.; Jack of Kennett Square and Kenneth of Brookhaven; a daughter, Mrs. Eleanor McFadden of Claymont and five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Maxwell-Boyer Funeral Home, 1834 Meetinghouse Road, Boothwyn, Upper Chichester. Burial will be in Lawn Croft Cemetery, Lower Chichester. There will be no calling hours.

Jack Mullen, 70, of Kennett Square, Pa., was pronounced dead Monday at Franklin Square Hospital, Baltimore of an apparent heart attack. He was visiting his daughter when he was stricken.
Mr. Mullen had retired after 20 years as a machinist at Olsen Co., Kennett Square.
He was a member and Sunday school teacher at The Presbyterian Church of Kennett Square. He was a member and past post commander of William Fayhe Post 491, American Legion, and a member of Swayne, Campbell, Testa Post 4567, Veterans of Foreign Wars, both in Kennett Square. He was a member of the Forty and Eight.
An Army veteran of World War II, he serviced with the 94th Signal Battalion.
Mr. Mullen participated in the annual Memorial Day parade in Kennett Square with the American Legion and helped place flags on veterans' graves in local cemeteries. He enjoyed traveling.
His wife, Cathrine J., died in 1987. He is survived by a daughter, Eleanor L. Marine, of Baltimore; two brothers, Andrew M. and Kenneth S., both of Cape May, N.J.; and a granddaughter.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Kuzo & Gofus Funeral Home, 250 W. State St., Kennett Square, where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery, Kennett Square, Pa.
