Mrs. E. Wood, of 2324 Sepviva street, likewise has appealed to The Inquirer for help in getting some trace of her eighteen-year-old daughter, A. Charlotte McClain, who disappeared from her home in the latter part of September, since which time no word from her, or information concerning her movements or whereabouts, has been had.
The mother is heartbroken, and frankly states that she tried every other means of locating her missing daughter, before resorting to publicity which would let the world know of the sorrow that has come to her. In addition, the mother writes that she is in poor circumstances, which has but served to make her plight the worse; and without the return of her daughter, the approach of Christmas does not hold out much hope of happiness or good cheer.
The missing girl is described as being about five feet two inches in height and weighing about 145 pounds. She has reddish-brown hair and blue eyes. When last seen she wore a black hat, trimmed with a gold braid which was set about one inch from the edge of the brim. She had on a brown polo coat, black dress and black slippers and stockings. The mother says she had no warning of the girl's intention of leaving home and cannot account for her disappearance.

Another mother, Mrs. Elsie Wood, of 2324 Sepviva streets, asks this newspaper to make a second attempt to procure some information concerning her daughter, Ann Charlotte McClain, who has been missing for more than six months, and concerning whom the frantic mother has been unable to learn anything in the meantime.
In reponse to a similar request, The Inquirer published the facts of the girl's disappearance, and of the mother's quest for her, two weeks prior to last Christmas. Up to the present nothing has been heard, and the mother writes that there is no other agency to which she can appeal with such hope of results. The mother feels that her daughter must be sick, else she would have written long before this.
